Why Draft Beer Lines Need Regular Maintenance

Draft beer lines need regular cleaning and maintenance, even if you don’t change your tap lineup!

The Brewers Association recommends cleaning draft systems every two weeks and replacing lines every 12-18 months. Dirty draft lines can lead to foaming issues ($$$ beer loss) and undesirable off-flavors in all draft beverages, which often leads to returned product ($$$ money loss for your business). Unmaintained draft systems also can lead to problems with gas leaks and failing glycol systems, which are costly to repair or replace.

The Funk Busters strictly follow the Brewers Association Draft Beer Quality Manual cleaning guidelines. We pay attention to detail and troubleshoot issues as we see them. In addition, we set up a regular schedule with all of our clients, and show up on time on cleaning days.
